How to Add a Co-Signer to a Proposal

Learn how to customize your proposal by adding a co-signer.

What it does: Allows you to add a co-signer to your proposal.

Purpose: Capture your homeowner and co-signers e-signature from anywhere.

  • Send a proposal via email to your homeowner and co-signer
  • Sign on the spot in-person with your homeowner and co-signer
  • Easily update their information for quick contact

Prerequisites*:  A proposal must be created.

Available On: All plans.

Here’s how it works:

Step One: After you log onto your Roofr dashboard, click the “Proposals” button on the left side navigation.

Step Two: To create a new Proposal click “New Proposal”, to add a co-signer to an already created proposal click on the desired proposal in your proposal list. If you’re creating a new proposal, follow the steps until you get to the proposal editing screen. 

Step Three: Once you’re on the proposal editing screen, click the “Add Co-Signer” button in the top left corner, right under the customer’s contact information.

Step Four: Enter in their information including name, phone number, and email address.

Step Five: Once you’re ready to send your proposal via email, click the “Preview and Send” button in the top right corner.

Step Six: Review your proposal, and once ready to send click the “Send to Customer” button.

Note: If you’re with your customer and co-signer in-person, click the arrow next to “Send to Customer” and click “Sign now by customer”. 

Step Seven: Review to ensure that all their information is correct (email, etc), attach a message and then click “Send Proposal”.

Step Eight: You’re done! The proposal will be sent to your customer first to gather their e-signature, once complete, an email with a signature request will be sent to the co-signer to review and e-sign.
