Just over a year ago, Amanda decided to take control of her future. She had a vision for how she’d run her own roofing business, and what she’d do to ensure success. For her, it wasn’t just about being a business owner. It was about entrepreneurship and leaving a legacy.

In March 2023, Maven Roofing & Exteriors, a 100% women owned business in New Jersey, opened. Maven closed its first sale the following April. They did $1.5 m in sales in their first 7 months. She’s expecting to do $3 m in 2024, all in retail. Maven’s ascent within a short period speaks to Amanda’s skill at strategic planning, leveraging technology, and building a brand.

Amanda's experience as a female entrepreneur in a predominantly male industry is inspiring. While she has found acceptance and professional treatment within the industry, homeowner perceptions are a challenge. To combat these assumptions, she leans on her knowledge and skills to build rapport with homeowners and challenge their presumptions.

She wears multiple hats every single day, being a leader in business, as a mother, friend, community member, and icon in the roofing industry. Through it all, she stays focused on her vision for Maven: to build a strong, sustainable business that provides exceptional value to its clients.
