What it does: Let’s you create personalized profile cards for each member of your team that are displayed on the Instant Estimator results page.

Purpose: Build trust with homeowners and make it easier for qualified leads to get in touch.

Prerequisites:

  • On the Elite plan and using the Instant Estimator
  • Each team member must have their own Roofr profile.

Available On: Elite Plan

Here’s how it works:

The contact card is your secret to booking qualified leads faster. The contact card lives on the results page of the Instant Estimator and offers leads a short intro to you (or your team) and a super easy way to get in touch. You'll stand out from your competitors before you even pick up the phone.

Think about a generic contact form. You fill in your details, hit submit, and are immediately left to wonder if anyone is even on the other side of that form submission. A contact card removes that question mark and instantly builds trust with homeowners. Instead of a generic "thank you we'll be in touch" message, your leads are greeted with a friendly face, professional bio, and reassurance you're not a robot.

User Profile Overview

Your user profile lives in your account settings and includes basic profile information. This profile is global and may be used in other areas of your Roofr account, but you only need to set up your account once. Remember, user profiles are unique to the user's account, meaning you cannot create profiles for other members of your team. Bummer, I know. But trust us it's better this way.

Setting up your profile

Step 1: From anywhere in your account, click on Settings in the left-hand navigation and go to User Profile.

Step 2: Update your profile with your personal information. These details will be visible to leads so it's important they are up-to-date and correct.

Add your contact details

  • Include your direct phone number and the email you check most often. A highly qualified lead may be ready to reach out right from the results page. Speed to lead wins deals!

Include a headshot and bio

  • Putting a face to the name can build rapport with leads even before speaking with them, and including some personal and professional background builds trust instantly.

Step 3: Save your changes, and your contact card will be configured. Next step — personalizing your Instant Estimator.

Adding a contact card to the Instant Estimator

Once your profile is set up, you can either update your active Instant Estimator links or create new ones. Either way, start by going to your Instant Estimator page.

Step 1: Whether you're updating an existing IE, or creating a new one, click "manage" to edit the Instant Estimator's details.

Step 2: Scroll down to the Contact Information section. Select a user from the "Point of contact" drop-down, and their profile will populate the contact card. You'll see all your teammates are included in the drop-down. If they haven't finished setting up their profile yet — send them the link to this super helpful article when you're done.

Note: If you have manually created contact cards previously, you may have legacy profiles on your Instant Estimators. You can continue to use the legacy profile if you choose, but you won't be able to edit it. To override a legacy profile, simply select your new user profile from the drop-down (it's easy to tell the difference – one profile will say "legacy profile" after your name and the other won't.) and the legacy profile will be deleted. Since legacy profiles were created on each Instant Estimator, you will have to delete them on each Instant Estimator. C'est la vie.

Step 3: Preview your contact card. Next to your selected "Point of contact" you'll see a preview of the details. This is what will be shown on the results page the lead receives when they complete the Instant Estimator quote.

Default Assignee:

Stay with me. Although we would recommend it, the Default Assignee and the Point of contact may not be the same and that's okay. There are a few key differences between the two.

  • The Default Assignee is the contact that will be automatically assigned the leads from that Instant Estimator. When a lead submits their details to get the results of the estimate, their contact information is sent to the Default Assignee, but the Default Assignee's details are not necessarily shown on the IE.
  • The Point of contact's profile details ARE visible on the Instant Estimator, meaning that leads will be able to contact them directly.

If the Point of contact you select is the same as the Default Assignee, then no problem! It's all going to the same person. However, if you do use a different user's contact card just be aware so there isn't any confusion with your team about leads. You'll see an alert to remind you.

On the other hand, when a Default Assignee is assigned, their profile will be tagged so it's easy to match the contacts.

Optional Step: Link your meeting scheduler. This will add a "Book a meeting" button to your contact card that will allow leads to book a meeting with you directly, based on your own availability. Speed to lead really doesn't get any faster than that and we HIGHLY recommend this step. If you don't have a meeting scheduler yet - Calendly offers a free scheduler you can try out.

Note: For flexibility, scheduling links are added to Instant Estimator' individually, rather than on your global user profile.

Company Profile Overview

You can also use your company profile to create a contact card on your instant estimator. With this option, you can showcase your company and brand to create a more personalized experience for your leads.

To add your company as a contact card, you'll need to update the contact details in your Profile & Branding settings, then add the company to the Point of contact in the same way you added a user. Easy!

Step 1: From anywhere in your account, click on Settings in the left-hand navigation and go to User Profile.

Step 2: Add a company phone number, an email address and a short company bio highlighting your brand and experience. Like the user profile, these details will be visible in the contact card on the Instant Estimator.

Step 3: Make sure the rest of your company details —including your logo — are up-to-date and click save.

Adding your company profile as a contact card on the Instant Estimator

A company contact card can be used in place of an individual's contact card to create personalization and trust on your Instant Estimator.

Step 1: On your Instant Estimator page choose the IE you would like to update, or create a new one. Either way, click "manage" to edit the details.

Step 2: Navigate to the Contact Information section, this time use the drop-down to select your company name as the Point of contact.

Optional Step: Link a meeting scheduler. Like with the user profile, the meeting schedule is controlled on the individual Instant Estimator so it can be included on the company contact card as well.
