Integrating SRS Distribution with your Roofr Account; an end-to-end guide

Learn how to integrate Roofr with your SRS account, set up your catalog pricing in Roofr, and use integrated pricing in your Roofr proposals.

What it does: This integration ensures Roofr automatically syncs with the latest SRS pricing, so you never worry about manually updating prices or sending proposals with outdated material costs.

With the SRS Supply integration in Roofr, you can automate the updating of material prices, ensuring your catalog always reflects the latest SRS pricing. This eliminates the need to manually adjust prices and helps you stay competitive with accurate, real-time costs.

Prerequisites:

  • A SRS Supply account
  • A Roof Hub account

Available On: Roofr Premium and Elite.

1) How to Connect your SRS Account with Roofr

Step 1: Enter your credentials

  • Navigate to the Integrations section of your Roofr Dashboard
  • Click ‘Connect’ in the SRS Distribution section
  • Enter your Roof Hub Account number and Integration Code. Click ‘Connect’.

💡 Pro Tip: Your Account number can be found in the ‘Profile’ of your Roof Hub account.

Your integration code can be found in the ‘Integrations’ section of your Roof Hub account.

Step 2: Confirm your Account and Branches

  • Select the account you wish to connect and click ‘Next’.
  • Choose the branches that you would like accessible in your integrated pricing and click ‘Confirm’.

Step 3: Add Branch Contact Information

  • Click ‘Add branch contact’ to your selected branches

👉 NOTE: Each branch must have a contact before you can save the supplier. Branch contacts can be found in your previous invoices or in the ‘Locations’ section of your Roof Hub account.

  • Add branch contact name and at least one contact method (phone or email). Click ‘Save’.
  • Click ‘Save’ again on the contact information screen when each branch is complete.

Done! You are now ready to integrate your SRS items in your Roofr catalog.

2) How to Integrate your Roofr Catalog Pricing with SRS

You have two options for integrating SRS Supply pricing with Roofr:

  1. Manually search the SRS catalog for each item
  2. Use SKU/Item Numbers numbers and bulk upload a CSV

Option A: Manually Search the SRS Catalog for Items

Step 1: Add a Catalog Item

  • Navigate to the Catalog section of your Roofr Dashboard
  • Click ‘Add item
  • Name the item

Step 2: Integrate Item

  • Click ‘Edit’ on the line item
  • Scroll to the Supplier Costs section at the bottom of the page.
  • Click Add, and select ‘SRS Distribution’ from the suppliers dropdown menu.

Step 3: Search the SRS catalog

  • In the search bar below, type or edit your item name to search
  • Roofr will search for a matching item from your SRC integration. You can edit your Roofr item name if necessary to match the SRS product.

💡 Pro Tip: Ensure the product name in Roofr matches what is listed in your SRS material orders and pricing sheets for accurate pricing. We also recommend adding your supplier to the item name so it’s easy to spot in your catalog.

Step 4: Select the correct item from SRS

  • Choose the correct product from the SRS catalog.
  • If there are multiple color options, pick any color (each color has a unique SKU)
  • After selecting the item, Roofr will gather pricing from all branches you’ve set up in your SRS integration.

👉 NOTE: Your Roofr item is now linked to SRS pricing. Prices update automatically each night, but you can manually refresh individual items or your entire catalog at any time.

Option B: Using SKU/Item Numbers and Bulk Uploading a CSV

Step 1: Download Your Roofr Catalog CSV

  • Navigate to the Catalog section of your Roofr Dashboard
  • Click ‘Manage Catalog’ then, ‘Download CSV

Step 2: Add SRS SKUs

  1. Open the CSV file.
  2. Find the column labeled ‘srs_sku
  3. Add the SRS Distribution Item Numbers (SKU) numbers for selected items.

💡 Pro Tip: You can find SRS Item Numbers (SKU’s) on your SRS invoices, or in your Roof Hub account.

On your PDF or printed invoice:

Step 3: Re-Upload the CSV

  1. In your Roofr Catalog**, c**lick ‘Manage Catalog’ then ‘Upload Catalog’.
  2. Select Update existing catalog items.
  3. Upload your updated CSV file to complete the setup.

That’s it!

Your updated catalog items now have SRS integrated pricing, automatically updated every night.

3) How to Use SRS Integrated Pricing in your Roofr Proposals

Step 1: Create a Roofr Template

  • Add the integrated items that you would like to use into a Roofr template.
  • Click ‘Use Template’ and select the measurement you would like to use for this proposal.

Step 2: Use Supplier Pricing

  • In the ‘Estimate Settings’ of your created proposal, select the Supplier catalog and Branch location you want to use for this proposal. Click ‘Save’.

The integrated items in that proposal will now automatically update with current pricing from your SRS branch!

4) How to send a Material Order with SRS integrated items

Step 1: Create Material Order

  • Navigate to the Material Orders section on a Job Card with a won proposal utilizing SRS integrated materials.
  • Click ‘Create Material Order’ and select the proposal you want to create the order from. Click ‘Continue’.
  • Review your material items and click ‘Continue’.

Step 2: Edit Material Order

  • Select your branch location from the dropdown menu (where applicable)
  • To edit quantities or pricing click ‘Edit Items’
  • Be sure to confirm all order details
  • Click ‘Preview’ to view your order

Step 3: Send Material Order

  • Click Finalize order
  • Compose a custom email if you wish to send along with your order
  • Click Place Order to send your request directly to your SRS branch

👉 NOTE: You will receive a confirmation number when placing the order and via email. You can use this to reference your order in your Roof Hub order history.
