Introducing Platform Fees, new way to protect your margins 👋🏻

Make your payments process even smoother in Roofr with platform fees. Automatically add your platform fee to your customer's invoice to make sure your margins are always protected.

Been avoiding credit card payments just to dodge the associated fees?

We’ve got great news - you don’t have to anymore!

Starting today, you can automatically include those pesky credit card and ACH fees on your customer invoices with our new platform fee feature.

This means no more absorbing processing costs, no more late-night spreadsheet math, and no more margin surprises at the end of the month. 🎉

Why is it called Platform fees and how does it help my business?

Great question! Credit card processing fees are a fact of life. We all pay them every time we tap our card. However when it comes to a high cost item like a roof - the 2.8% can take a huge chunk out of a company’s profits. Some companies find ahem creative ahem ways around this, but when it comes to your cashflow, compliance is critical.

Roofr’s platform fee feature was built to keep you compliant, without any extra work for you. Even the name “Platform fees” was designed to ensure you’re not breaking any rules.

Now you can get paid faster, keep more of your money, and sleep soundly at night.

Keep your margins safe - without lifting a finger

One of the biggest wins with this release? You’ll never have to manually add payment fees to your invoices again. With platform fees enabled, those charges will be automatically included in the invoice total your customer sees. That means no more eating into your profit just because someone decided to pay with a credit card.

You stay confident in your pricing and your customer sees the full picture — it’s a win-win.

Say goodbye to month- end fee pileups

We get it: monthly billing often made it hard to keep track of how much you were really making - especially when a chunk of it disappeared in processing fees at the end of the month.

With platform fees, we’ve moved from monthly to daily billing. That means those fees will be deducted before payment is deposited into your account, so you won’t have to reserve funds or guess what your final payout is going to look like. It’s a smoother, more predictable way to stay on top of your cash flow and plan ahead with clarity.
