Why the Change?
Roofing projects are complex enough—your tools shouldn’t add to the challenge. Our previous system had separate pages for Roofr and DIY reports and individual reports for each measurement, and it could sometimes be a challenge to find the most up-to-date version of a measurement report. This new update simplifies everything by:
- Consolidating All Reports: Now, all Roofr and DIY reports live together in one place, organized by job address.
- Streamlining Multi-Building Management: Multi-building reports are neatly grouped under one job, reducing clutter and potential confusion.
- Introducing Report Versions: Updates to reports now create new versions instead of duplicates, making it easier to track changes without filling your measurements list with clutter.
- Quick View Measurement Details: In the job card, check out your measurement details in a glance, with the total squares, pitch, and report totals shown without even having to open a report.
We’ve designed this upgrade with one goal: making your workflow smoother, faster, and frustration-free.

What’s New and How to Use It 🤔
1. Unified Reports View
Gone are the days of switching between Roofr and DIY report lists. The new Reports Page shows all reports in one table, organized by job address. Here’s what you can do:
- View report types (Roofr or DIY), customer info, status, and creation dates at a glance.
- Select an address to see all relevant reports in one spot, whether it’s a Roofr or DIY report—or even different versions of the same report.
2. Multi-Building Made Easy
Managing multi-building jobs just got a whole lot simpler:
- Collapsing Reports: Multi-building projects now appear as a single line item in your Reports Page. Open the job to view all associated reports.
- Add Reports Anytime: Missed a building? No worries. You can now add new reports to a multi-building job directly on the measurements page or job card, and the report will be included in the job summary. Add either a Roofr measurement report or a DIY report!
3. Quick Job Summaries
Click on a job, and you’ll instantly see:
- The number of reports included.
- Total pitched and flat areas.
- Predominant pitch.
This feature lets you get the details you need at a glance—no need to dig through individual reports.
4. Report Versions
Say goodbye to endless duplicates! Updates to reports now create new versions under the same job:
- The latest version is always visible in the Reports Page.
- Want to check an older version? Open the report and use the drop-down menu to view previous iterations.
- Updates ensure you’re always working with the most accurate and up-to-date data.
5. Time-Saving Downloads
Need all the reports for a multi-building job? With one click, download a ZIP file containing every measurement PDF.
