You requested it (probably more than once), and now, you’ve got it! Now adding customized Discounts to proposals is simple, giving flexibility to your sales team and value to your customers — all while maintaining control over your job profitability.

  • Value-based and percentage-based discounts: Tailor your discounts to match your customer, offering either a specific dollar amount or a percentage reduction on a job total.
  • Seamless integration into digital proposals: Discounts flow smoothly into your proposals, making it easier than ever to present compelling offers to your customers.
  • Profitability Guardrails: Discounts adhere to profitability minimums set up in your proposals, so you don’t have to worry about eating into your margins.
  • Flexible discount options: Discount some, not all of your proposal. Apply discounts to individual options in your proposal so you can easily incentive the option you prefer.

  • Where do I add the discount?
    • You can add your discount to your proposals! You are not able to add a discount to a template.
  • Can I add more than one discount?
    • At this time, you can add one discount per estimate option. However, because you can customize the discount title, you can combine two discount types in one line (ex. Military Discount + Special Promotion - 10% off).
  • Can applying a discount potentially make my estimate unprofitable? **Will discounts affect my margins?
    • You can set up profit guardrails in your Templates. That way, whenever a member of your team uses a Template to create a Proposal, they won’t be able to add a discount that doesn’t meet the profit requirements.
  • How do I block my team members from adding discounts?
    • At this time, you can’t block your team from using discounts, however you can set up profit guardrails in your Templates. That way, your team won’t be able to add a discount that doesn’t meet the profit requirement.
  • Can I add a discount to my templates? No
  • Are discounts added before or after tax? Before.
