story

Not all roofing companies are made the same. And that truth shines brighter in John Tucker, founder of Friend in Roofing.

For a long time, John was searching for a life that gave him purpose. He was invested in building connections, helping others, and living a meaningful life. He followed his gut into sales jobs, and eventually took a chance on the roofing industry.

When he first got into roofing, he was extremely successful at selling roofs and building connections with homeowners. The problem? The roofs he was selling didn’t line up with what was being installed on homeowners’ roofs.

It was this firsthand experience of the lack of integrity that could exist in the industry that inspired him to build a roofing company to challenge the standards and status-quo of roofing.

John Tucker's journey with Friend and Roofing stands as a testament to what's possible when integrity leads the way in business. With a focus on robust training processes, comprehensive service audits, and a lifetime workmanship warranty, Friend and Roofing isn't just repairing roofs; it's restoring faith in the roofing industry.

to bring integrity into the roofing industry
"That was my goal: To be a roofer with a completely different standard for what quality meant."

A roofer-to-homeowner translation tool

Outside of saving John time and money, Roofr’s features and easy-to-use tools help him communicate with homeowners in a way they understand. Simplified communication means more roofs sold.

Roofr helps me to translate “Roofer talk” into something that the homeowner understands.
It lets me easily show them what we, as roofers, see.
