Work does not happen at a desk
Roofing days happen in driveways, on ladders, in trucks, and in five minute windows between jobs.
You have just enough time to:
- check job details
- send a proposal
- update the job
- answer a customer who wants to know what is next
When software slows you down, the default move is simple: “I’ll do it later.”
Later becomes tonight. Tonight becomes tomorrow. Then you are chasing updates, not running jobs.
So we rebuilt the Roofr experience on your phone to match how roofing actually works.
One important note up front: this is not a new product. It is the same Roofr, just a much better mobile experience.

Who this is for
This upgrade is for anyone who needs Roofr to work in real time, not just at a desk:
- Owner operators who do everything
- Office admins who keep jobs moving and customers informed
- Crew leads and field teams who need answers on site
What happens today
A lot of roofers use their phone to check things, then save the real work for later:
- “I’ll send the proposal when I’m back.”
- “I’ll update the job tonight.”
- “I’ll look it up on my laptop.”
That delay is where the usual roofing chaos creeps in:
- updates get forgotten
- handoffs break
- follow ups slip
- crews show up missing context
- the office and the field get out of sync
In roofing, “I’ll do it later” is expensive.
What is different now
Now your phone is not just for checking. It is for doing.
With the refreshed mobile experience, you can handle the next step in the moment:
- send the proposal right after the conversation
- update the job while you are still on site
- confirm details before the crew shows up
- keep the day moving between appointments
The goal is simple: less “I’ll do it later” and more “done.”

Why we built it this way
We did not build a traditional app on purpose
Apps sound great until you deal with what comes with them:
- downloads and sign ins
- storage issues on already full phones
- updates at the worst time
- different versions across the team
- App Store delays and rules
If you are an owner operator, you do not want another thing to manage.
If you run a team, you do not want “everyone install this and keep it updated” to become part of your job.
Roofr is supposed to remove chaos, not add a new kind.

We built an app like experience without the App Store part
You can add Roofr to your home screen and use it like an app:
- one tap access
- full screen app style experience
- always up to date automatically
- works across iPhone and Android with the same experience
Behind the scenes this is a Progressive Web App, but you never need to think about that. What matters is it feels like an app, without the friction.
We rebuilt the experience for real job site use
Cleaner screens. Simpler navigation. Faster paths to action.
Built for thumb speed, short attention windows, and real world roofing days.
What you get out of it
How this helps you
- Move faster between appointments because you can take action in a few taps.
- Forget less because updates happen when they are fresh.
- Stay in control because the job does not live in your head until later.
- Look more professional because proposals and follow ups go out when they should.
How this helps your business
- Fewer dropped balls with cleaner handoffs and less rework.
- Faster decisions and cash flow because proposals go out faster and next steps happen sooner.
- Better team alignment because office and field stay synced.
- Less rollout pain because there is nothing to install and nothing to update.
Add Roofr to your home screen
This takes about 30 seconds and makes a big difference.
On iPhone
- Open Roofr in Safari
- Tap the Share icon
- Tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add
On Android
- Open Roofr in Chrome
- Tap the menu (three dots)
- Tap Add to Home screen
- Confirm
Now Roofr sits on your phone like an app. One tap and you are in.
Quick FAQs
Is this a new product I need to buy?
No. This is an upgrade to the Roofr experience on your phone.
So it is just a website?
It is Roofr, built to behave like an app on your phone. The difference is you skip the App Store and the update drama.
Do I have to keep updating it?
No. Updates happen automatically.
What if my signal is spotty?
You will still need internet for most actions (like sending things), but the experience is designed to be lighter and faster so mobile work feels less frustrating.
Try it on your next job
Next time you are on site and you catch yourself thinking, “I’ll do it later,” try this instead:
Open Roofr on your phone. Add it to your home screen. Use it like it belongs there.
Because it does.
