Do I need to install anything for these updates?

Most features roll into Roofr automatically as they go live. Some items are still in beta, so you’ll need to request access from your account manager. Once they’re generally available, they’ll appear in your account with no install.

Does any of this cost extra?

Most items are included in every tier, although a few features are only for Premium or Elite users. Your Account Manager can confirm specifics for your account.

How do I start with Roofr Inbox (Homeowner Comms)?

Connect Gmail in Settings, enable SMS, and toggle invoice automations. All your messages will then live in one thread per job. Note: adding SMS texting requires submitting an application to prove you comply with federal regulations. We can walk you through the process, step by step.

Can I connect more than one Gmail account, or use a shared address?

Yep! Multiple connections are supported. Use a shared address for maximum team visibility.

How does Google Calendar sync work?

Real-time, two-way sync between Roofr and GCal. Once you sync them up, it’s much easier to avoid double-booking and keep your schedule aligned.

When there are multiple Job Assignees, who gets credit/commission?

You can assign up to 10 people to a job. One is the Job Owner (shown on performance/commission). You can change the Job Owner anytime.

Where do Insurance Fields show up?

On the job card for quick reference, as dynamic fields in proposals, and in the proposal text section.
