A self-proclaimed old-school roofer, Jeremy is a perfect example of how businesses can grow and evolve along with the times… often for the better.
A third-generation roofer who learned roofing from his father, Jeremy was brought up in the old-school roofing way of life: get ‘er done. Having taken over the family business and experiencing the downfall of the 2008 recession, he had the responsibility of growing Simpson Roofing all over again.
He’s learned the hard way that putting your pride aside as a leader, hiring to fill gaps, building a company people are happy to work at, leaning on technology, and meeting customers where they want to be met can make all the difference to building a company that will continue to last beyond generations.
His goal now? To build a company that can run without him so that he can enjoy his time with his family.
How will he do that? Hire the right team who love working with him, and are invested in growing it so that he can pass the hats off as he needs to.
