Roofr Measurement PDF vs. Dashboard View
Learn how to view all of your detailed report measurements in your Roofr dashboard.
What it does: Allows you to view the detailed measurements in a Roofr measurement report in the edit screen of your Roofr dashboard.
Purpose: To view all the detailed and un-rounded measurements that may not be visible on the measurement PDF.
Prerequisites:
- A Roofr report
Available On: All Roofr accounts.

- When reviewing your roof report PDF, you might notice some measurements are not shown on the length measurement page. For example, this dormer in the measurement below doesn’t have the lengths shown.
- You'll also see that measurements on the PDF drawing are rounded to the nearest foot, while your totals at the top of the page are calculated to the nearest inch.
This is intentional. For complex roof layouts, we simply can't fit all the detailed measurements on a single PDF while keeping it readable. But don't worry - every measurement is recorded and included in your totals.
💡 You can view full detailed measurements in your Roofr dashboard. Here’s how:
Step 1: Select Your Measurement Report
- Navigate to the job card.
- Go to the measurements section and click the hamburger menu on the address, then click ‘Edit Report’.
- Click ‘View Report in Editor’.
Step 2: View All Layers
- On the Edit Screen, click ‘All Layers’ to view all measurements.
- Zoom with your mouse or the 🔍 button at the bottom of the edit screen. Click and drag to move the drawing.
Everything is measured precisely to the inch on this screen, giving you accuracy for your project.
