Roofr of the Month

Jamie Hunt rode shotgun with her dad nearly every day of her 26 years in roofing. Now her son Drew, 26, rides with her. Three generations, one company: SNR Contracting in Villa Rica, Georgia.
Her dad started SNR more than 30 years ago as a gutter company. Jamie joined at 18 as the secretary (by her own account, the worst ever).
Then her dad fell off a roof, and Jamie stepped into a leadership role. She dragged the handshake-and-handwritten-estimate business into the digital age.
SNR now does roofing, gutters, siding, painting, and remodeling. Jamie’s kept it small on purpose. She had the chance to scale, but she’d rather be hands-on with every job and leave customers feeling like family.
SNR doesn’t advertise. Word of mouth fills the calendar.
As a woman in roofing, Jamie has earned her seat in an industry that doesn’t always hand it over. Early on, homeowners would often shut her down every time she chimed in. Now she wins customers over with her roofing knowledge. She loves changing a mind.
Jamie's goal: keep being the neighborhood roofer in Villa Rica and hand SNR to Drew (once he’s earned it, of course).
“I got to ride with my dad every day for 26 years. Now my son Drew rides with me… I’ve had such a blessed life in this industry.”
Measurement Reports
Jamie’s a researcher. In the old days, she spent hours on cut-up roofs with a tape measure. But then her dad fell off a roof and got seriously hurt. She stepped into a leadership role, and knew there had to be a better way. So Jamie did what she does best: started looking for a solution. That’s when she found Roofr.
Now Jamie just orders a Measurement Report instead of climbing the roof, and gets it back within two hours (often much less). It saves her hours on every project, and carries a lot less risk.
