Release Notes

You can now search catalog items by SKU, assign categories to multiple items at once, and supplier discoverability is now available to all users. A warning also appears when changing a unit of measure on a catalog item to prevent accidental updates to existing orders. Previously, each of these required extra navigation or wasn't available platform-wide. These updates make managing your catalog faster and more consistent.

A preview link is now available on Instant Estimator cards so you can quickly see how your estimator looks to homeowners, lead source tracking is now available to all users, and lead performance reports are now available giving you visibility into how leads are converting across the pipeline. Previously, previewing required extra navigation and conversion reporting wasn't available. These updates give you a more complete picture of your lead pipeline.

You can now revise all queues in a multi-building order through a single workflow, and cancel a multi-building order after it's been submitted. Previously, revisions had to be made queue by queue and cancellations required a support request. These updates give you more control over complex measurement orders.

You can now perform bulk actions on multiple measurement orders at once, see who requested each order with a new "Requested By" column, and open any measurement in a new tab from the job card or measurements page. Previously, each of these required individual actions or navigating away from your current view. These updates make managing your measurement queue faster and more efficient.

Proposal options and the summary section now display in accordions on mobile for easier navigation, and line items can be unlinked directly from mobile in proposals and change orders. Previously, both actions required more scrolling or switching to desktop. These updates bring the mobile proposal experience closer to parity with desktop.

A fee preview now appears before sending a deposit request, percentage deposits are automatically calculated when a proposal is moved to Won, payments can be processed directly on a proposal, and you can preview a payment schedule before sending it to your customer. Previously, these steps required manual calculation or navigating to a separate section. These updates make collecting payment faster and reduce the chance of errors.

Proposals now show a "Viewed" status when a homeowner opens them, and payment status is visible directly on the proposal. Previously, there was no way to know if a customer had seen a proposal and checking payment progress required navigating away. These updates give you a clearer picture of where each proposal stands without extra clicks.

You can now add a deposit setting directly to a proposal template, and deposit settings carry over automatically when you clone a template. Previously, deposits had to be manually re-added every time a proposal was created or a template was duplicated. This ensures your payment terms are always built in from the start.

The proposal creation flow now prompts you to select a job before a measurement, the contractor signatory is automatically finalized when a proposal is sent, you can attach a measurement report directly to a proposal, and estimate options can be renamed from the left-hand navigation. Previously, these steps required extra navigation or manual action. Together, these updates make building and sending proposals faster and more accurate.

Internal notes now autosave as you type with draft recovery if you navigate away, crew lead work order views are now recorded in the job activity log, and a notification bell with an unread badge has been added to the global navigation. Previously, unsaved notes could be lost, work order engagement had no tracking, and there was no central place for in-app notifications. These updates give your team better visibility and reduce the risk of missing important activity.

A compose button is now available in the job activity log, the inbox list has been redesigned for easier scanning, emails and texts can now be archived to keep your inbox organized, and dynamic fields like customer name and job address can now be added to email subject lines. Previously, messaging required navigating away from the job and subject line personalization wasn't supported. These updates keep communication faster and more relevant.

You can now create events directly from the Agenda View, search across all calendar events by keyword, email or text the primary job contact directly from a calendar event, and contacts are automatically notified when events are bulk rescheduled. Previously, each of these required navigating away from your current view or manually following up after scheduling changes. These updates make calendar management faster and keep communication in context.

You can now filter your job list by workflow, manually enter a job address with a map pin on both desktop and mobile, remove a job close date after it's been set, and lead source tracking is now available to all users. Together, these updates give your team more control and visibility across the job pipeline.

Contacts now support separate first and last name fields, a billing address field, and can be exported as a full list from Roofr. Previously, names were stored as a single field, billing addresses couldn't be captured, and contact data couldn't be extracted from the platform. These updates give you more structured data and make it easier to use your contact records across tools and workflows.

Team managers can now edit paid invoices. Previously, paid invoices were locked to prevent unintended changes, but this blocked insurance workflows and change order updates. Team members remain unable to edit paid invoices by default; additional flexibility will be available when advanced permissions roll out.

Two new automation actions are available for the "Job stage changes to" and "Job stage remains in" triggers: change the job value to the job costing net profit or to the job costing net revenue.

Users can now hide all cost information from Work Orders for crews. This setting is on the Work Order edit page and is applied individually per Work Order.

Users can now choose to hide homeowner details from Work Orders, preventing crew leads from viewing that information. This setting is found on the Work Order edit page and will persist across future Work Orders once set.

The Job Lost report completes the Performance Dashboard 2.0 rollout. Users can view summary metrics including highest job value lost, most common loss reason, and total lost opportunity, drill into a loss reasoning table filterable by job count and value, and click into individual jobs to see owner, lead source, value, and stage.

The Team Performance report is now live as the third installment in the Performance Dashboard 2.0 rollout. Users can view at-a-glance metrics for top closer, biggest job, most assigned jobs, and most qualified leads, and use the ranking table to sort and compare reps by jobs assigned and close rate.

Users can now create recurring events in the Roofr Calendar. When creating an event, select a repeat frequency - daily, weekly, monthly, annually, every weekday, or custom - and optionally set an end date for the series. Custom recurrence allows selecting specific days of the week. Learn more.

Scale users can now create up to seven custom workflows in their job board, and can create custom stages for the last three stage categories: completed jobs, lost jobs and unqualified leads.

Track lost revenue, compare job performance over time, and break down results by workflow to understand what’s driving wins and losses.

Roofr Reports + ESX are now eligible for Guaranteed Turnaround Time (GTAT). Users can select 12, 6, or 3-hour GTAT options, depending on plan. Roofr Reports and ESX file are delivered together, and GTAT applies to both files. Available for eligible plans.

Create automations triggered by material order status updates. Set up automations to automatically send emails or SMS messages when the material order status changes. Available for all users.

Users can access a new Marketing Templates page within Instant Estimator that includes Canva templates for flyers, door hangers, business cards, and posters, along with links to marketing masterclasses, articles, and webinars to help promote their estimator.

Users can save Instant Estimators as drafts and publish them when ready. Estimators can also be unpublished without deleting them, allowing users to make updates while controlling when the estimator link is accessible to customers.

Users can preview their Instant Estimator from a homeowner’s perspective before publishing. Any test leads generated during preview will not be added to the job board, allowing users to test their estimator without creating fake CRM data.

Performance improvements allow users to switch between the Job Board and List view instantly without waiting for the Job Board to reload. This makes navigating between job views faster when managing multiple jobs. Available for all users.

Users can now view contact-related updates directly in the Activity Log using the new Contacts filter. This makes it easier to track changes to contact information alongside other job activity. Available for all users.

Users can pin one internal note to the top of the Activity Log within a job to keep important information visible for their team. This helps teams quickly reference key notes when reviewing job activity. Available for all users.

Users can add a custom Job Name to include additional details beyond the property address. This allows teams to use their own naming conventions, organize jobs more clearly, and manage projects such as new construction or multi-phase work. Available for all users.
