7.8 Assign Sequential Job Numbers to Keep Your Pipeline Organized

CRM

You can now enable automatic job numbering in Settings, which assigns a sequential Job ID to every new job on your account. Job IDs appear in the job modal and in the job URL, making it easy to reference, search, and track jobs by a consistent internal number. Previously, there was no built-in job numbering system, so larger teams had to manage their own tracking outside of Roofr.

7.7 Work Orders Now Automatically Translated Into Spanish for Your Crew

CRM

You can now send work orders to your crew in Spanish with automatic AI translation — available to all users who use Work Orders. Previously, contractors with Spanish-speaking crews had to manually translate work order details or rely on crew members to interpret English instructions. The translation applies automatically and is available on all plan tiers.

7.6 Set a Custom Address for Any Job, Including New Construction Sites

CRM

You can now specify a fully custom job address — with editable address fields and a moveable map pin — for any job on your account (Scale plan). This unblocks new construction contractors who couldn't use standard address search for sites that don't yet exist in mapping databases. To use it, start typing an address and select "Enter address manually" from the bottom of the suggestions list.

7.5 Change Order History Now Visible in the Job Activity Log

CRM
Proposals

You can now see key change order events — created, sent, viewed, approved, rejected, reopened, and signature request cancelled — directly in the Job Activity Log, with the actor name and CO name on each entry. Previously, tracking CO history meant opening individual change orders and piecing together a timeline manually. Everything is now in one place alongside the rest of the job record.

July 1, 2026

7.4 Save Any Proposal as a Reusable Template

Proposals

You can now save a completed proposal as a template and use it as the starting point for future jobs. Previously, reusing a proposal structure meant duplicating an existing job or rebuilding sections from scratch each time. This makes it faster to spin up consistent, on-brand proposals without starting from zero.

July 1, 2026

7.3 Resend Proposals and Change Orders Without Cancelling the Signature Request

Proposals

You can now resend a proposal, change order, or PDF Signer document directly from inside the document or the ••• menu without disrupting the existing signing flow. Previously, resending meant cancelling the active signature request, moving the document back to draft, and starting the send process over again — a frustrating extra step when you just needed to nudge a homeowner. The signing request stays intact throughout.

July 1, 2026

7.2 Personalize Proposals with First Name and Last Name Fields

Proposals

You can now insert a customer's first name or last name independently as dynamic fields in your proposal text — not just their full name. Previously, only the full name token was available, so personalizing with just a first name ("Dear Sarah,") or a formal last name ("Thanks, Mr. Johnson") required manual editing every time. Full name still works exactly as before.

7.1 Measurement Reports Now Flow Directly Into Your Proposals

Proposals
Measurements

You can now add, edit, and switch measurement reports directly within a proposal — no more jumping between tools to line up your measurements and your quote. Previously, measurement reports were managed separately and had to be manually referenced when building a proposal, making it easy for numbers to fall out of sync. This brings your measurement data and estimating workflow into one connected experience.

June 1, 2026

6.12 Smarter Data Import: Skipped Fields, Notes, and JobNimbus Activity

CRM

During a data import, you can now download a CSV of any fields that were skipped so you know exactly what didn't come through. Notes can now be imported with field mapping support, and jobs migrated from JobNimbus display an "Imported from JobNimbus" badge in the activity log for traceability. Previously, skipped fields during import were silent, notes couldn't be mapped, and there was no visual indicator for JobNimbus-sourced records.

June 1, 2026

6.11 Configure Your Instant Estimator from the Voice Settings Tab

Instant Estimator
Leads

Instant Estimator settings can now be configured directly from your Voice settings tab, keeping all your lead capture configuration in one place. Previously, IE settings and Voice settings were managed in separate locations, requiring you to navigate between sections to set up your lead flow.

June 1, 2026

6.10 Delete All Pitches at Once in the DIY Editor

Measurements

The DIY Editor now includes a "delete all pitches" action, so you can clear your roof layout and start fresh without removing each pitch individually. Previously, resetting a roof design required deleting pitches one by one, which was time-consuming on complex structures.

June 1, 2026

6.9 Clearer Permissions and Smoother Supplier Setup

Suppliers

Permission messaging in material orders has been updated to be clearer when access is restricted, and you can now connect supplier authentication directly from within the item import flow. Previously, permission-related blocks in MOs gave vague feedback, and linking supplier credentials required navigating away to the integrations page.

June 1, 2026

6.8 See Images and SKUs Right in Your Material Orders

Suppliers

Product images now appear inline when building and editing material orders for SRS and QXO suppliers, so you can confirm exactly what you're ordering before submitting. The linked SKU for each catalog item is also now visible directly in the item drawer, with the preferred supplier's SKU shown at the top. Previously, confirming product images or finding SKU numbers required downloading a CSV or leaving the ordering flow. These updates reduce ordering errors and make supplier management faster.

June 1, 2026

6.7 SMS Invoice Notifications, Mobile Export, and Dashboard Polish

Payment
CRM

Customers can now receive invoice notifications via SMS, you can export invoice data as a CSV directly from mobile with a new export bar, and the invoices dashboard has been updated with improved filters, better empty states, and mobile polish throughout. Previously, invoice notifications were email-only, CSV export required desktop, and the dashboard had limited filtering on mobile. These updates make it easier to manage invoices wherever you're working.

June 1, 2026

6.6 Deposit Details Now Visible Across More Touchpoints

Proposals
Payment

Customers now receive deposit information directly in proposal notification emails, deposit requests are visible on proposal PDF views, and the signature success screen has been updated for proposals that don't include a deposit. Previously, deposit details were only visible inside the proposal itself, and the success screen didn't account for deposit-free flows. These updates keep payment expectations clear for homeowners at every step.

June 1, 2026

6.5 Section Subtotals and Cleaner Change Order Previews

Proposals

You can now enable a subtotals toggle per section heading (e.g. Materials, Labour) in your Estimate Settings, which shows a rolled-up total for each section even when individual line item pricing is hidden from the homeowner. Change order previews also now display undiscounted subtotals for clearer pricing breakdowns. Previously, there was no way to show section-level cost summaries without revealing every line item, and CO previews didn't reflect pre-discount values.

June 1, 2026

6.4 Waste % from Your Measurement Report Now Flows Into Your Estimate

Proposals
Measurements

When building a proposal from a measurement report, the report's recommended waste percentage is now surfaced directly in the estimate. Each line item shows a link icon indicating whether the waste matches the report's recommendation, and you can apply the recommended value instantly or override it manually — including bulk-applying it across multiple line items at once. Previously, waste percentages had to be entered manually without any reference to what the report suggested, making it easy to miss or mismatch values.

June 1, 2026

6.3 Real-Time Inbox Updates and Mobile Calendar Defaults

Inbox
Calendar
CRM

Your inbox now refreshes automatically when a new email or text arrives — no manual refresh needed. On mobile, the calendar also defaults to Agenda View on your first visit, which gives you a cleaner day-by-day view to start from. Previously, new messages required a manual page reload to appear and the calendar opened to the standard grid view on mobile.

June 1, 2026

6.2 Smarter Calendar Scheduling and Crew Management

Calendar
CRM

You can now bulk reschedule calendar events in one action, assign a crew and crew leads directly to an event, and add all filtered team members as event invitees in a single click. Crew calendar colours are also saved between sessions, and filtered team members are no longer automatically added to new events when you're filtering to find someone. Previously, rescheduling required updating events one by one and crew assignment wasn't available at the event level. These updates make it easier to coordinate your team directly from the calendar.

June 1, 2026

6.1 Better Job Management: Stage Reassignment, Location Revert & Field Updates

CRM

When you delete a pipeline stage that still has jobs in it, you're now prompted to reassign those jobs to a different stage before it's removed. You can also revert a job's address back to the original geocoded location after a manual override, and fields that auto-update now briefly animate to confirm the change happened. Previously, deleting a stage with jobs could create orphaned records, address changes weren't reversible, and auto-updated fields gave no visual feedback. These updates give you more control and confidence when managing your pipeline.

June 1, 2026

5.12 More Insight Into Your Lead Pipeline

Leads
Instant Estimator

A preview link is now available on Instant Estimator cards so you can quickly see how your estimator looks to homeowners, lead source tracking is now available to all users, and lead performance reports are now available giving you visibility into how leads are converting across the pipeline. Previously, previewing required extra navigation and conversion reporting wasn't available. These updates give you a more complete picture of your lead pipeline.

June 1, 2026

5.11 More Control Over Multi-Building Orders

Measurements
CRM

You can now revise all queues in a multi-building order through a single workflow, and cancel a multi-building order after it's been submitted. Previously, revisions had to be made queue by queue and cancellations required a support request. These updates give you more control over complex measurement orders.

June 1, 2026

5.10 Faster Measurement Queue Management

Measurements

You can now perform bulk actions on multiple measurement orders at once, see who requested each order with a new "Requested By" column, and open any measurement in a new tab from the job card or measurements page. Previously, each of these required individual actions or navigating away from your current view. These updates make managing your measurement queue faster and more efficient.

June 1, 2026

5.9 A Better Proposal Experience on Mobile

Proposals

Proposal options and the summary section now display in accordions on mobile for easier navigation, and line items can be unlinked directly from mobile in proposals and change orders. Previously, both actions required more scrolling or switching to desktop. These updates bring the mobile proposal experience closer to parity with desktop.

June 1, 2026

5.8 More Flexibility in How You Collect Payment

Payment

A fee preview now appears before sending a deposit request, percentage deposits are automatically calculated when a proposal is moved to Won, payments can be processed directly on a proposal, and you can preview a payment schedule before sending it to your customer. Previously, these steps required manual calculation or navigating to a separate section. These updates make collecting payment faster and reduce the chance of errors.

June 1, 2026

5.7 See Exactly Where Every Proposal Stands

Proposals

Proposals now show a "Viewed" status when a homeowner opens them, and payment status is visible directly on the proposal. Previously, there was no way to know if a customer had seen a proposal and checking payment progress required navigating away. These updates give you a clearer picture of where each proposal stands without extra clicks.

May 29, 2026

5.6 Build and Send Proposals Faster

Proposals
Measurements

The proposal creation flow now prompts you to select a job before a measurement, the contractor signatory is automatically finalized when a proposal is sent, you can attach a measurement report directly to a proposal, and estimate options can be renamed from the left-hand navigation. Previously, these steps required extra navigation or manual action. Together, these updates make building and sending proposals faster and more accurate.

May 29, 2026

5.5 Better Visibility Into Team Activity and Notifications

CRM

Internal notes now autosave as you type with draft recovery if you navigate away, crew lead work order views are now recorded in the job activity log, and a notification bell with an unread badge has been added to the global navigation. Previously, unsaved notes could be lost, work order engagement had no tracking, and there was no central place for in-app notifications. These updates give your team better visibility and reduce the risk of missing important activity.

May 29, 2026

5.4 Faster, More Personalized Team Communications

CRM
Improvement
Inbox

A compose button is now available in the job activity log, the inbox list has been redesigned for easier scanning, emails and texts can now be archived to keep your inbox organized, and dynamic fields like customer name and job address can now be added to email subject lines. Previously, messaging required navigating away from the job and subject line personalization wasn't supported. These updates keep communication faster and more relevant.

May 29, 2026

5.3 A More Connected Calendar Experience

Calendar

You can now create events directly from the Agenda View, search across all calendar events by keyword, email or text the primary job contact directly from a calendar event, and contacts are automatically notified when events are bulk rescheduled. Previously, each of these required navigating away from your current view or manually following up after scheduling changes. These updates make calendar management faster and keep communication in context.

May 29, 2026

5.2 More Ways to Filter, Place, and Track Your Jobs

Job Card
Job Board
CRM

You can now filter your job list by workflow, manually enter a job address with a map pin on both desktop and mobile, remove a job close date after it's been set, and lead source tracking is now available to all users. Together, these updates give your team more control and visibility across the job pipeline.

May 29, 2026

5.1 Smarter Contact Management: Names, Addresses & Export

CRM
Improvement

Contacts now support separate first and last name fields, a billing address field, and can be exported as a full list from Roofr. Previously, names were stored as a single field, billing addresses couldn't be captured, and contact data couldn't be extracted from the platform. These updates give you more structured data and make it easier to use your contact records across tools and workflows.

April 13, 2026

4.7 Edit paid invoices

Invoice
CRM

Team managers can now edit paid invoices. Previously, paid invoices were locked to prevent unintended changes, but this blocked insurance workflows and change order updates. Team members remain unable to edit paid invoices by default; additional flexibility will be available when advanced permissions roll out.

April 11, 2026

4.6 Automatically update job value based on job costing

Two new automation actions are available for the "Job stage changes to" and "Job stage remains in" triggers: change the job value to the job costing net profit or to the job costing net revenue.
