How to Sync Roofr Reports and Proposals to CompanyCam
Learn how to easily sync your Roofr Reports and Proposals to a CompanyCam Project.
What it does: Allows you to automatically sync your Roofr Reports and Proposals to a Project’s Documents in CompanyCam.
Purpose:
- Easily view completed reports and signed proposals in CompanyCam
- Get all the details you need to close a job seamlessly
- Gather all job information in one place while you’re on-site
Prerequisites*: Create a Project in CompanyCam

Here’s how it works:
You will need a CompanyCam account in order to use this feature. If you don’t have an account yet, please sign up for free here.
On the CompanyCam app:
Step 1: Log into CompanyCam and click “Projects” and then “New Project”.
Step 2: Search for the address of the home/roof that you are looking to quote, once selected click “Create Project”.
Note: You must create Roofr Reports and Proposal from a Job in Roofr, that has been linked by CompanyCam. The Roofr Report must be completed and the Proposal must be e-signed by the customer in order for them to appear in CompanyCam.
On the Roofr platform:
Step 1: Log onto the Roofr Platform and select “Jobs” in the left side navigation.
Step 2: Click the “Create New Job” button.
Step 3: Type in the address used on the CompanyCam Project, and then click “Create from CompanyCam”.
Step 4: Select the CompanyCam Project associated with this address, and click “Continue”
Note: If you don’t see the Project you’d like to use show up, confirm its address/Project name in CompanyCam and search again.
Syncing a Roofr Report to CompanyCam
Step 5: Click “Measurements” in the left side navigation
Step 6: Click “Order Report” in the top right corner
Step 7: Type in the address or name of the CompanyCam Project you’d like to attach the Roofr Report to
Step 8: Select the matching “Job” that you have created from a CompanyCam Project and click “Continue”

Step 10: Once the Roofr Report has been completed, it will be available under “Documents” in a CompanyCam project, and under “Measurements” on Roofr.
Note: You can also order a Roofr Report from a “Job” by selecting the “Job” on the “Jobs” page, clicking “New” and then selecting “Roofr Report”.
Syncing a Proposal to CompanyCam
Step 1: Click on “Proposals” in the left side navigation.
Step 2: Next, click “New Proposal”.
Step 3: Select the Roofr Report attached to the “Job” that you have created from a CompanyCam Project, OR click “Create without Measurement”. If you selected a Roofr Report, skip to step 6.
Note: If you have already ordered a Roofr Report for the “Job” attached to a CompanyCam project, you can select this report and the Proposal will automatically be synced with CompanyCam (once your customer e-signs the Proposal).
Step 4: If you selected “Create without Measurement”, then you’ll be prompted to type in the name of “Job” address you’d like to attach the Proposal to.
Step 5: Once typed in, select the “Job” associated with the CompanyCam Project you’d like to sync the Proposal with and click “Continue”.
Step 6: Select the template you’d like to use for this Proposal and click “Continue”. If you’d like to create from scratch, click “Create without Template”.
Step 7: Create your Proposal as you normally would by confirming the materials, labor, and margin. To learn how to create a Proposal click here.
Step 8: Once completed, click “Preview and Send” in the top right corner.
Step 9: Enter in the customer’s information (if it isn’t already included), and click “Save”.
Step 10: Review the Proposal, and once ready to send click “Send to Customer”.
Step 11: Add a note to be included in the email, and once ready click “Send Proposal”,
Step 12: Once your customer has reviewed and e-signed the Proposal, it will automatically be synced to CompanyCam.
Reviewing Roofr Report or Proposal in CompanyCam
Step 1: Open up the CompanyCam application
Step 2: Go the “Projects” and select the project with the address you just received a completed Roofr Report and/or signed Proposal
Step 3: Click on the “Documents” button
Step 4: Review your completed Roofr Report or Proposal!
